How to Launch Your Studio
How to Launch Your Studio

Use these tips to facilitate a successful Studio launch!

Updated over a week ago

Step 1 — Create a plan for sharing your Studio.

When preparing to launch your Studio to your contacts, you'll want to consider how you intend to share your Studio with them. There are a couple of ways you can do this:

  1. Send the link directly, either by sending the full URL, or by hyperlinking it to a piece of text in an internal communication such as an email, Teams post, or Slack post.

  2. You can send invites directly from the dashboard, by creating a Contact List and sending the invites to an entire list, or by sending individual invites using the invite button on your Studio dashboard.

Step 2 — Prepare your contacts.

Whether you plan to share the link internally or send the invite from the dashboard, we suggest letting your contacts know what to expect.

  1. If you are sharing the link directly, you can include an explanation and user walkthrough & tips in an email or a team message along with the link.

Example Launch Messaging (feel free to copy and modify the following text) —

    Hi [Team]!

We are excited to announce the launch of [Insert your company name's] new virtual headshot studio! The Studio offers a unique and convenient way for you to take a new headshot from the comfort of your own home or office.

Within the Studio, you can easily take or upload your photo, review the output with backgrounds we've preselected, and receive quality headshots that are perfect for use on your LinkedIn profile, company website, or other professional communications.

  2. If you are sending invites from the Studio dashboard, you can prepare your contacts by sending a message internally along these lines —

Step 3 — Encourage participation.

Lastly, in order to increase participation in a timely manner, we suggest giving your contacts a deadline to have this completed. You can add this to your launch messaging email to ensure they are aware of the deadline.

Pro Tip!
If you are experiencing difficulty encouraging your contacts to submit, you can set up Admin Notifications from your dashboard. This would require an initial invite to be sent from the dashboard, so be sure that you have invited your contacts from the dashboard prior to having this set up.
