What is Competition: Best Photo?

Competition: Best Photo allows you to easily select a winning photo(s) from all the photo submissions. It’s an easy way to encourage participation with Snapshot, by providing an incentive for users to take photos, it inspires creativity, and fosters positive camaraderie between event attendees. The post-event ‘winner display’ provides a fun way to showcase the winning photos to your audience and provides an excellent way to close-out the event.

How it works

  1. Users take their photo in Snapshot, add their backgrounds, frames, and stickers.

  2. Then, within the Snapshot Photo Booth, they will be asked to enter their contact info via a Lead Capture form, and then submit their photo.

  3. After the event, use the gallery to find the photo you like the best. Click on the image to view the filename to see who the photo belongs to. From there, your Customer Success Specialist will have sent you a .csv of the leads capture in Snapshot (the list of names and data submitted in Snapshot). Compare the lead capture .csv file to find the corresponding filename of the winning image.

  4. Send your winning photos to your Customer Success Specialist. They will upload the photo to your Winner's presentation template and will send it over one business day after we’ve received your selected winners.

  5. Email the template with the winning image(s) out to your event attendees, and then email or send the prize to your contest winners, if applicable.

Tips

  1. Have a theme for the contest to incentivize users to participate and encourage creativity — i.e. ‘Best Photo,’ ‘Best Pet,’ ‘Best Outfit.’

  2. To keep the participation going all event long, have different prize or theme for each day, and select new winners each day.
