How to Embed Snapshot
Updated over a week ago

Below is a sample of what a page builder could look like where you are embedding. It is important to use a HTML block and not a URL or iframe block when embedding.

  • If you can’t access your camera, the site that you are embedding into may be preventing camera access. Please see below!

The Most Common Issue

When I embed my Snapshot, I can only upload a photo.

This usually happens because there is an important bit of code that is being overridden (usually not on purpose) by the platform you are embedding on.

To find out if this is the issue:

  • Simply inspect the page where the Snapshot is embedded and look for this error in the console.

  • You can usually do this by right-clicking on the webpage, selecting 'Inspect', then selecting 'Console'.

You can inspect the iframe that is on the page where you are embedding the Snapshot and ensure the text below is still in the iframe tag.

  • You can usually do this by right-clicking on the webpage, selecting 'Inspect', then selecting 'Elements'.

❗ In any of these cases, please contact your platform for their support, as the Snapshot product is working properly and the problem is a result of some underlying code on the platform.
